The East Anglian Federation organises a number of tournaments open to individuals for both Association and Golf Croquet. Entry forms for many of them are sent to Club Secretaries at the beginning of the year. For details of this year's tournaments follow the corresponding links.
Clubs are invited to enter their representatives (mostly winners from internal club tournaments in the previous season) in a one day tournament in one of three categories, Advanced, B-Level Advanced and Handicap.
Indoor tournaments are held at Soham on Saturdays and Sundays over four to six winter weekends a year. Games are 14 point handicap doubles with a time limit of 25 minutes for each side, though details of the format vary between events. See Indoor croquet formats ( 33kb) for more details of the playing arrangements.
This was a two-day AC 'B-Level' team tournament organised at county level for the 6 counties in the Region. It was last played in 2012 and usually took place over the Saturday and Sunday of a weekend in May, at about the same time that the national AC Inter-Counties Championship took place in Southwick and Compton. Unfortunately it lapsed in recent years when some counties found it difficult to raise teams. Teams of four from each of the six counties played each other in Level Advanced Doubles. Entry was restricted to players in an AC 'B-Level' range (typically 1+).
This is a one-day GC team tournament first introduced in 2011, with six teams selected from EACF affiliated clubs to represent each of the six counties in East Anglia comprising the Federation.

Indoor tournaments are sometimes held at Soham over a winter weekend. Handicap doubles matches are played with each match played within a time limit. See Indoor croquet formats ( 33kb) for more details of the playing arrangements.
In addition to the above, some clubs in East Anglia organise their own open tournaments which are available to all individuals who are members of the national Croquet Association, and which appear in the official CA fixture list. A summary of these can be found in this site under CA Tournaments in East Anglia, along with links to tournament reports where available.
