The Annual General Meeting of the E.A.C.F. was held at 7:30pm on Monday 29th March 2021 by video conference call
(Zoom details tba).

Agenda:

  1. Apologies for absence.
  2. Chairman's introduction.
  3. To approve the Minutes of the previous meeting held (Virtually) by e-mail from the 6th to 30th April 2020 (copy attached).
  4. To receive the Secretary's report (copy attached).
  5. To receive the Treasurer's report and to approve the Statement of Accounts for the Year Ended 31st December 2020 (copies attached).
  6. To determine the Annual Subscriptions for the year ending 31st December 2022 (see Attached Treasurer's Report).
  7. To receive The Development & Equipment Officers Report (copy attached).
  8. To receive The Soham Indoors Carpet Organiser Report (copy attached).
  9. To receive The Webmasters report (copy attached)
  10. To elect the Officers to the Executive Committee for the forthcoming year:
    • Geoff Johnson (Chairman + Golf Croquet Leagues).
    • Terrey Sparks (Secretary + AC Leagues and Tournaments).
    • Arthur Reed (Treasurer).

    To elect members to the Executive Committee for the forthcoming year:

    • Jonathan Toye (Development & Equipment).
    • Cliff Jones (Coaching & Handicaps).
    • Paul Hetherington (Indoors Carpet).
    • Simon Hathrell (Webmaster).
    • George Collin.
    • John Reddish (co-opted).

    C.A. representatives appointments: ex-officio Brian Havill & Rich Waterman.

    All nominations for Officers and Committee Members must be submitted in writing (by e-mail or letter) and received by the Secretary by Saturday 20th March 2021. Nominations can only be made by an Officer of a full member club and the agreement of the nominee and must be obtained prior to nomination.
  11. Appointment of The Examiner: John Noble has agreed to continue in this role for the forthcoming year.
  12. To review the current situation in respect to the forthcoming proposed summer seasons Programme of events/ leagues/ tournaments.
  13. Any Other Business: - It would be helpful if any proposed business was submitted in writing (by e.-mail or letter) to the Secretary by Saturday 20th March 2021.

Presentations

Immediately after the AGM closes around 20.45 - 21.00 hrs, Paul Hetherington (CA Marketing & Communications) and Simon Hathrell (EACF Webmaster) will each present a session on Marketing and the EACF Court Booking System respectively, to which all club members are invited to log-in. These will last approximately 10 minutes each and will be of interest to those who are keen to move their clubs forward.
